The firm sponsors regular community service events, a charitable giving match program and a volunteer platform to continue its dedication to the community. Extensive programs support our families from back-up child and elder care services, to special needs programs and infertility, adoption, and surrogacy resources and reimbursement policies.

Akin offers a referral bonus to associates for bringing another qualified associate to the firm. The firm pays DC bar dues/license fees. The Washington office also has an on-site back-up child-care center that provides child care during business hours to children of employees, as well as transitional child-care.
