Comments regarding Hiring |
Lerner David’s summer associate program is open to students completing their second year of law school. Because patent law plays a central role in our practice, applicants must have an undergraduate degree in science or engineering, or have sufficient credits in technical disciplines to obtain admission to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. We are committed to finding motivated and talented individuals who can grow and develop into our future partners. |

We ask our summer associates to spend 8 weeks with us beginning in June and ending at the end of July. Summer associates are offered a wide variety of work projects and enjoy an informal and collegial work atmosphere. Our firm’s continued success depends upon our ability to hire and develop top legal talent. To that end, we are committed to providing our summer associates with excellent training and exposure to a variety of matters. Each summer associate is assigned an attorney mentor to help facilitate the transition from law student to summer associate. Our summer program includes many opportunities for summer associates to get to know the firm’s lawyers as well as one another. Social events consist of happy hours, and other informal events. |
